Ewan Carmichael is a public policy and strategy consultant based in Glasgow. He has extensive experience leading policy change for Scotland’s young people and other marginalised groups. As a member appointed to the Scottish AI Alliance’s Community Advisory Group, he collaborates closely with government alongside other sector leaders to design inclusive participatory mechanisms for building future AI legislation.

​Ewan has also recently joined leading social care charity Quarriers as their Policy Officer, working to strengthen key supports and partnerships within the sector. He also serves as a Board Director and Charity Trustee for Alcohol Focus Scotland and Iriss.
