The challenge |
This is Milk was engaged by Sport Wales to create a learning experience around the theme of Fear Free Organisations, one of three subjects in the Women Succeeding in Sport Curriculum. The programme of learning was a trial curriculum to support women in the Sport Wales ecosystem to build leadership, confidence, and capability. Our focus was the practical applications of Psychological Safety techniques and thinking to build fear-free workplaces.

Our approach followed an adaptive and user-centered design approach, including:
Best practice and practical: Using a tried and true, practical approach to Psychological Safety as outlined by Amy Edminson, offering an accessible access point to a complex skill area Collaborative and open: Shared our course outline and key outcomes with the Sport Wals project team and partner contributors to ensure content was consistent, unique and provided a holistic learning experience Flexible and adaptive: Actively sought feedback from Sport Wales and participants, reflected as facilitators and made any necessary adjustments to content and delivery between the three workshops to ensure the best learning experience possible |

What the client said |
"Really enjoyed and feel that the fast easy techniques shared will be beneficial. Good to share and talk with others" "The consultants from This is Milk made the session so warm and welcoming. The fact they shared their personal selfs rather than a corporate consultant facade was great - it really played into setting a psychological safe place!" |
