Steph has a diverse background spanning academia (astrophysics, genomics) and the arts (film, dance). A project management expert, she fosters collaborations to guide organizations on their AI journey. Steph led Data Lab's contribution to Scotland's AI Strategy and now leads its implementation, focusing on trustworthy, ethical, and inclusive AI.
Passionate about equitable AI, she's Co-Founder of Diverse AI. Recognized for her work, she's a recipient of the 2024 DataIQ Award for Data & AI For Good Champion and was listed among the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics in 2023.
