Research, proposition, brand and website.​

In collaboration with Women’s Enterprise Scotland a digital roadmap was produced for the launch of the Digital Women's Business Centre. Along with a new proposition, that currently in phase 1 of its journey.

​Women's Enterprise Scotland inspires and supports women in starting and growing their own businesses. By advising and educating external partners, WES advocates for gender-specific enterprise support. The organisation seeks to influence policymakers and key stakeholders to recognise the significant economic contributions of women-led businesses. Additionally, WES champions women’s enterprise in the media, within Scottish society, and globally.

The Project 

We worked with Women’s Enterprise Scotland to produce a digital roadmap for the launch of the Digital Women's Business Centre, a new proposition, currently in phase 1 of its journey.

Why
In collaboration with its partners, Women’s Enterprise Scotland aims to foster a commercial culture where women-led business ownership is not just an aspiration but a truly attainable, attractive, and achievable option for women everywhere.

For it's new proposition, WES needed a partner to research and design a digital roadmap for the first phase.

What
We worked with the WES team to understand their current and future users, their existing needs and pain-points and the organisation’s goals now and in the future.  We approached this by running an impact mapping and user journey mapping session to drive out the required information and future visioning.​​​

We recommended and delivered against a set of brand requirements for users, including women business owners and those wishing to start a business, at all stages of their journey.  This branding took into account the views of the board and WES’ existing ambassador network.  ​

​We quickly defined a proposition and digital proposition roadmap, based on known funding and assumptions for the future, so that we could start building phase 1.

To validate the future roadmap, we then undertook a 3 stage research process, involving co-creative workshops, interviews and social listening, which refined the future recommendations and resulting roadmap.

Impact
Phase 1 delivered a brand new digital service for the Women's Enterprise Scotland's website - , with future phases currently seeking funding based on our insights, recommendations and roadmap.​
​The outcome of the work was a fully designed, working and branded website to kick start the new WES proposition to the market.
