AlMorrisTransformation Lead, This is Milk Increasingly we are seeing and hearing that digital facilitators do not have the right skills in organisations to do the job both now and in the future. So in typical This is Milk fashion we did something about it and created the Digital Transformation Programme, shortlisted for a BIMA innovation award 2018. ![]() Since June 2018 This is Milk have been training professionals on our Digital Transformation Programme. We are creating a mass of skilled and enthusiastic changemakers with the skills and confidence to drive digital transformation in Scottish businesses and beyond. In doing so we will create a hub of continuous learning from our home in Glasgow, to be taken worldwide. This is no easy job, however as a resilient Glasgow business we are more than up to the task. As it stands, the Digital Transformation Programme has on boarded both full time students and short course students. We have a vibrant online alumni community. Our mentors have been signed up and paired with students where they will work together over the next 12 months to progress through personal learning plans. This has all happened through sheer hard work, collaboration, guts and determination with our sole purpose to make the world a better place. The British Interactive Media AgencyBIMA is a not-for-profit industry body representing the digital industry in the United Kingdom with a drive for innovation and excellence. Their yearly awards are the longest standing and most prestigious digital awards in the UK, seeking to support and encourage the work in the British Digital Sector. In 2018 the This is Milk Digital Transformation Programme has been shortlisted for the Transformation & Consultancy: Innovation award. This award recognises the project with the potential to deliver the most far-reaching impact. A key factor in this is having the ability to inspire the future with pioneering techniques or approaches, advancing the industry standard or delivering innovative output through digital transformation. Award recognitionThe main goal of the Digital Transformation Programme is to prepare our professional facilitators for an unknown future that’s only certainty is change. We know for a fact that facilitation will be one of the key jobs of the future and we are making a stand to train and up skill working professionals so that they can progress their careers and feel positive about their futures. It is not and will never be our goal to win accolades and awards. Our recognition comes in the progression of our students and their abilities to change the future for themselves and their organisations. Keep your eyes peeled in September to see how we get on in the awards, however the work will not stop and we are still looking to enrol more professionals onto our programme. For more information you can visit our Digital Transformation Programme page. Information eventWe are running an information event in Glasgow city centre on Wednesday the 25th of July.
